RMA Soils partnered with New Hope Group to deliver ongoing audits and reporting for their mining operations in Queensland. The project required a proactive approach to deliver compliance with Environmental Authority conditions while maintaining best-practice environmental management. Our role was to provide accurate, actionable insights that support New Hope’s commitment to sustainable operations.
As part of the engagement, RMA conducted a comprehensive site inspection focusing on critical infrastructure such as levees, sediment dams, and drainage systems. These elements play a vital role in controlling erosion, managing water flow, and preventing sediment discharge into surrounding ecosystems. During the inspection, our team assessed integrity and functionality, identifying areas requiring maintenance and opportunities for improvement to enhance environmental outcomes.
Following the inspection, RMA prepared recommendations for repairs and upgrades, maintaining alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards. We also undertook an assessment of the site against Environmental Authority conditions, providing clear reporting that supports compliance and operational transparency.
