The Kearney West Estate is a master-planned residential subdivision located in Toowoomba’s southern growth corridor, Kearneys Spring. Set to deliver 350 residential lots across eight stages, this development continues RMA Soils strong partnership with Clive Berghofer Land Sales, Toowoomba’s largest land developer. Following the success of Kearney East Estate, RMA Soils was once again engaged by Jeteld to provide comprehensive geotechnical services for Kearney West.
RMA Soils has been involved across all five of the eventual eight stages of the project, delivering tailored geotechnical solutions that underpin the civil and structural design. Our scope included broad-scale geotechnical investigations to inform critical elements such as roads, service trenches, stormwater detention basins, and retaining walls. We also provided individual lot site classification reports for compliance and confidence for future homeowners.
A key component of our work was Level 1 inspection and testing for subdivision bulk earthworks. Working closely with civil contractors, we identified and remediated non-conforming areas, performing subgrade moisture and compaction testing. Additionally, RMA Soils conducted inspections and material testing to support the successful delivery of approximately $2.3 million worth of trunk infrastructure works.
