Headquartered in Toowoomba, and with a presence in Bundaberg and Brisbane, the team at RMA Soils + Geotechnical have built the company on a foundation of accessibility, mobility and flexibility of service. This has enabled us to engage with a wide range of clients on a number of projects in places like Clermont, Biloela, Kingaroy, Toowoomba, Warwick, Emerald, Inverell and more.

Our continually expanding mobile fleet means we can provide a greater depth of service for our remote project partners and allows for prompt delivery of results.

We have been operating independently out of our Toowoomba headquarters for around 9 years to date, and throughout the journey of developing our company progressively, we have been afforded many opportunities to work with numerous other agencies and clients directly on a number of significant projects.

Our collaboration with varying engineering agencies across Queensland has given our already skilled team extensive experience with a broad range of construction jobs. Additionally, our long standing relationship with, and close proximity to, RMA Engineers has provided us with a unique perspective when approaching our role within new construction projects, and facilitates our extensive understanding of the whole-of-construction supply chain, as well as the intricacies of the wider design process. This means we are often able to assimilate into established project teams with confidence and comprehension.

As an independent supplier, we have the great privilege of being able to collaborate with a variety of engineering and construction companies. We’re proud to have worked on a number of key projects across the region and beyond, including:

Mobil Servo in Warwick, NRG Services – We were able to provide services throughout the course of the project – from the initial geotechnical investigation right through to construction phase testing, covering level 1 construction site services on earthworks, compaction testing on pavements and foundation observations.

Gulawa Rise Residential Estate in Highfields, Shadforth Civil Engineering Contractors – Our team was on site for the duration of works including Level 1 inspection; testing for house allotments; construction materials testing for road pavements; and trench backfill.

Kingaroy CBD Transformation Project in Kingaroy, South Burnett Regional Council – Our scope of works involved boreholes, logging soil profiles and laboratory testing carried out in our NATA accredited facility. This assessment provided key information that informed foundation design for the proposed new structures.

Coopers Gap Wind Farm, NF Corbett – Our team was onsite for the duration of works including foundation and stability inspections through to a wide range of construction materials testing and quality assurance services.

Toowoomba Region Sports Precinct, Toowoomba Regional Council – We were engaged to carry out a broad scale geotechnical assessment to inform project feasibility and early stage bulk earthworks design considerations.
