The Oaks Toowoomba Hotel features 102 self-contained suites over 9 floors. The ground floor offers a selection of retail operators, as well as a tavern, café, versatile conference and event facilities, well-equipped gymnasium and lap pool.

RMA Soils were involved in several aspects of this project. The team completed the feasibility stage geotechnical investigation for the proposed structure and compiled a report outlining the investigation results analysing these results to provide geotechnical advice for the foundation design.

During construction phase works we provided geotechnical advice for basement retention system construction, inspection of foundations, stability assessment of trench and excavation walls. This gave the contractors confidence in the soil structure to remain vertical while work was being undertaken providing a cost benefit to the project.
