Piccadilly Court is a 13 lot residential subdivision in the Toowoomba region. The RMA Soils team were engaged in several aspects of this project. Initially the team provided a slope stability risk assessment for submission to council. The report outlined the investigation results and analysed the potential risks (AGS2007) of the site. The report also outlined specific potential hazard areas, the risks within these areas and provided risk mitigation measures to reduce the risk level.
We provided the construction materials testing for the subdivision which included bulk earthworks cut and fill for some of the allotments which included infill through a drainage gully, service trench installation and road pavement construction. This included Level 1 Inspection & Testing and Level 2 Sampling and Testing (AS3798) during the construction.
While we were on site undertaking Level 1 works, we provided geotechnical advice on the subgrade material below the fill, “keyed in” surfaces during fill placement and monitored the fill material that was being used.
